Documenting queer lives with Phyllis Christopher: Workshop, February 2022
At the beginning of 2022, the HÄN team got to meet photographer Phyllis Christopher face to face. In our age or remote communication it was truly special: on the 26th Of February we took a train down to Burmingham, UK, to take part in a workshop at Grand Union, which was part of Christopher’s exhibition 'Heads and Tails'. The photographer talked about her journey, the importance of documenting lesbian and queer lives - and got the participants exploring intimacies, self portraits, joys and vulnerabiloties through photography. Thank you to all the beautiful people who shared this day with us, and Grand Union for hosting!
